Bullying Training for Teaching Teams
Today, bullying is widespread in schools and differs significantly from short-term conflicts and disagreements. However, bullying is not always easy to recognize, as it is a very subtle form of violence.
Many affected students do not seek help out of fear that the situation will worsen—and this fear is not unfounded. Not every measure is effective in addressing bullying; in fact, some can even exacerbate the situation.
Many schools also face overzealous parents who perceive bullying in almost every situation. As a result, schools may become defensive, leading to the risk of overlooking actual bullying cases.
As a teacher or school social worker, you may be familiar with these situations:
-
You often ask yourself: Is this already bullying, or just a conflict?
-
You believe you have identified bullying but feel uncertain about how to respond.
-
You have experienced situations where you failed to recognize bullying—and later regretted it.
I am a bullying expert and have worked as a teacher for many years. That’s why I understand how stressful bullying can be in schools—for everyone involved.
Over the years, I have developed a structured approach that allows me to analyze each situation individually and recommend the right measures.
If you’re looking for a one-size-fits-all solution to bullying, I’m not the right person—because my experience has shown that such an approach simply doesn’t work.
In my one-day in-house seminars for teaching teams, I use real-life case studies to show you how to recognize bullying in your school and identify the most effective ways to handle it.
What Will Participants Learn in the Full-Day Seminar?
What You Will Learn
- How to distinguish bullying from a conflict—every case is different.
- What NOT to do in bullying situations to avoid making things worse.
- Why sanctions and direct confrontation can escalate the problem instead of solving it.
- Why there is no single “one-size-fits-all” solution—instead, I provide a range of effective methods.
- How to respond appropriately in different situations and choose the best approach. What preventive measures can help create a school environment that reduces bullying.
Bullying makes people sick—and often leaves traumatic scars!
Your school can do something about it!
Is your school interested in the full-day seminar
“Recognizing Bullying and Cyberbullying – and Responding Effectively”?
Yes, our school is interested in the teacher training on bullying.
We would like more information and a quote.
Teachers often approach me with these concerns:
- “Things are escalating at our school, and I simply wasn’t prepared for such a severe case!”
- “I’ve lost control of the situation—and the school social worker doesn’t have time either.”
- “We’ve already tried so many things, but nothing has worked.”
- “Is this really bullying, or just a conflict?”
- “How can I prevent this from escalating?”
- “Should I involve the parents in the solution?”
Do you currently have a bullying situation in your class, but a school-wide training on bullying isn’t planned anytime soon?
Then let’s analyze the situation in a consultation session and discuss the best approach for your specific bullying case.
The online consultation takes place via video call, allowing us to schedule a session quickly and flexibly—including in the evenings—without the need for travel.
Thank you for the great collaboration!
Specifically designed for Montlingen Secondary School and our needs, we experienced an engaging, valuable, and highly insightful training.
A heartfelt thank you for your competent and straightforward approach, Christelle!
The transfer from theory to practice takes place already during the training, making it highly effective and immediately applicable.
Your seminar on “Bullying in Kindergarten” at our Telos Children’s House was fantastic! It was highly engaging, insightful, and well-structured, flowing seamlessly from one topic to the next. We learned so much—and everything just made sense!
The mix of varied methods and media made the training dynamic and engaging. The role-playing exercise was particularly powerful and illustrative, the film sequences were incredibly impactful, and the discussions about our own kindergarten’s situation were truly valuable.
We now clearly understand the difference between bullying and conflict and know exactly what to do and when.
A huge thank you for this amazing training, which we highly recommend!
